Japanese F1 2013 Special

The Betting Master welcomes you to consider some of the best betting tips available in Formula one betting. The prices today come from Paddypower.com.

The best betting tips are as follows.

The Japanese Grand Prix has been overshadowed by the tragic news of the death of Maria De Villota on Friday. The news of the loss comes amidst the the weekend that could see Sebastian Vettel crowned world champion for 2013. With Vettel starting the race along side his team mate Mark Webber who took pole in qualifying the crown is looking close as Fernando Alonso could only manage a modest 8th position grid start. No doubt over the events of Malaysia earlier this year Webber will not make it easy for Vettel however the Australian is not famed for his starts of the grid, often loosing out on positions in several races this year.

For the win:
Vettel 4/6 - Relentless in his charge for a 4th world championship. He usually converts front row starts.
Webber 9/4 - Doubts over the fact that he will be able to fend of his team mate.
Hamilton a staggering 14/1 - although the pace of the Mercedes is well of that of Red Bull.

Betting without Vettel:
Webber 4/9 - He has had terrible luck over the course of his final season. A worry when Betting.
Hamilton 6/1 - Good odds, unless Webbers luck changes.

Leading after the first lap:
Vettel 6/4 = BET OF THE DAY. It has to happen. His starts are usually flawless. What a price.
Webber 4/7

Double points finish
Mercedes 1/3
Red Bull 1/3
Ferrari 1/2

The Betting Master suggests to pick one of the above for double points finish to create a safer bet. Mercedes are usually reliable and both drivers are usually in the top 10.

Formula 1
Betting before qualifying is risky. If you want to back Sebastian Vettel for the win this weekend you are best to do it now before qualifying as he was beaten by a determined Hamilton. There is a chance of rain in Korea this weekend to add to the risk.

Currently at the time of writing outright prices for the Korean GP victory:
Vettel 8/13
Hamilton 10/3
Alonso 13/2
Rosberg 12/1

The betting master would back either Vettel or Hamilton before qualifying if there are guarantees that the rain stays away from the Korean GP on race day.

At this stage of the season Vettel is closing in quickly to another consecutive title. Lewis Hamilton however seems fired up again after the disappointing performance in recent races. Do not rule out Nico Rosberg as the Mercedes are showing good pace in Korea and Nico must fight for the number one spot in the Mercedes garage. If there is rain forcast for sure, he is your man. At 13/2 with rain I would back him, he is a rain-master and Ferrari are good strategically when it comes to strategy in the rain.

In Paddy Power's Qualifying Match Betting:

Jules Bianchi 1/7 to out qualify Max Chilton looks like a decent bet.
Fernando Alonso 3/10 to out qualify Felipe Massa.

Qualifying Winning Car

Red Bull 4/7
Mercedes 6/5

Its match day 2 of the 2013 Champions League. Celtic v Barcelona is the highlight tonight. Can Celtic repeat the heroics of last year as they host the Catalan giants. The Betting Master is backing a draw @ 19/5 for this one. Celtic are most certainly the underdogs in this match up. Expect a game of 70% pressure from Barcelona and Celtic defending for their lives. The reason why The Betting Master believes Barcelona will not win is because the intimidation of the Celtic faithful.
Chelsea should beat Steaua @ 8/11.

Tips for 26th September 2013

The best free betting tips are as follows. The prices today come from Boylesports.com.

Soccer
Inter Milan are EVENS for their encounter at home to Fiorentina.

Horse Racing
Let's Play is a good E/W bet at the Vaal for the 1.00 race. A Horse that has a consistent form recently. Could go one better here but an E/W looks a better bet.

Safety Check currently SP at the time of writting, in the 2.35 at Newmarket has been consistent recently. Another E/W bet.

Court Pastoral 3/1 at 3.10 at Newmarket is probably The Betting Master's bet of the day. The horse came 4th in the last outting in France on soggy ground. Better ground at Newmarket. Court Pastoral also has the help of stable mate Songbird at 13/2 which could work in favour of the former.

Soccer
There is a big encounter tonight between Manchester United and Liverpool. Key players are missing for this encounter. No Robin Van Persie for Man United. No Daniel Sturridge for Liverpool. Man United have had a poor defence recently under David Moyes and that is something for United fans to worry about.
Man United 13/10 Liverpool 23/10 with Ladbrokes.com.
The Betting Master would suggest a draw at 12/5.

Man United to qualify 8/15 Liverpool 11/8 to qualify.

The Betting Master would like to outline a bet: Wayne Rooney to score at any time @ 7/4. Rooney is back scoring and he hates Liverpool. Just look out for the starting team. Such an encounter always produces the goods.

Other fixtures for tonight:
Swansea to win 5/6
Stoke to win 8/11

The Betting Master welcomes you to receive some of the best betting tips available.
The best betting tips are as follows. The prices today come from Ladbrokes.com and Paddypower.com.

Soccer
The best betting tips for tonights Champions League matches are outlined shortly. Tonight will see the first group of fixtures played out as the UEFA Champions League kicks off for another season. Firstly the outright markets see the title holders Bayern Munich start the campaign as favourites at 7/2 with both Ladbrokes.com and Paddypower.com. The holders do usually go in as favourites each season however with the quality of teams competing in the competition, it is very rare to see back to back winners of the competition. The Betting Master would advise against betting on Bayern Munich this season. Although they have strenghtened for 2014, most capable of scoring goals, Barcelona are still capable of winning yet another Champions League. Barcelona start the campaign as 4/1 second favourites with Ladbrokes.com and 9/2 Paddypower.com. Others to consider are Real Madrid at 11/2 Ladbrokes.com and 5/1 Paddypower.com. If you are willing to back an outsider for the competition why not consider Manchester United. Moyes in charge for his first Champions League campaign with the red devils, has the likes of Rooney and RVP at his disposal for world class fire power up front. Man United are a big 16/1 with Ladbrokes.com and 12/1 with Paddypower.com. If The Betting Master owned a bookmaker Man United would be priced 7/1.

For tonights match ups, The Betting Master's BIG3:
1) Bayern Munich to beat CSKA Moscow 1/5 with Paddypower.com 2/11 with Ladbrokes.
2) Juventus to beat FC Copenhagen 2/5 with both Paddypower.com and Ladbrokes.com.
3) Man United 4/5 with Paddypower.com and 8/11 with Ladbrokes.com.

Paddypower.com accumulator adds up to around 3/1.

The Betting Master would not back Manchester City at this time as performance wise they are in disarray. Outlined are the best betting tips available.

Tips for 15th September

Betting tips for today 15th September 2013, with prices coming from Ladbrokes.com and Boylesports.com.

Horse Racing

Racing from Ireland comes from Listowel. The 5.40 the horse Beluckyagain at 9/2 with Boylesports.com and 5/1 Ladbrokes.com looks a good bet for this one. The Mullins piring are always a formidable force when it comes to race meetings at Listowel.

The other meeting in Ireland today is at the Curragh. The 5.45 E/W of A Star Is Born with Joseph o'Brien looks like a fillie with potential to get at least a place in this one. The fillie has a poor form at 1m1f so the move up to 1m4f may work to this horse's favour. A Star Is Born is 7/1 with Boylesports.com and 8/1 on Ladbrokes.com.

NFL

Atlanta Falcons to win tonight are 4/9 Boylesports.com while they are 10/23 with Ladbrokes.com.

Green Bay Packers to win at 2/7 Boylesports.com and  1/4 with Ladbrokes.com.

Tips for the 9th September 2013

Betting tips for today 9th September 2013, with odds coming from Boylesports.com and Betfair.com.

The Review

First to Formula One, Sebastian Vettel claimed another win at Monza which looks like he is in contention for a fourth world title in a row. He was a healthy 1/2 yesterday and a driver like him is someone you could stick a big wager on. Betting for the 2014 championship I would urge serious caution. New regulations in Formula One will probably mean a shift in dominance next year. Alonso at 1/7 to finish in the points with Boylesports.com yesterday was also a banker which came through.

In the GAA the game ended in a draw in which it was one of the most exhilarating hurling matches of the year. In hurling you really cannot predict a draw. The replay is scheduled for in 3 weeks. Who to back for the next game is even harder.

In Tennis Serena Williams has won another grand slam beating Victoria Azarenka 7-5 6-7 6-1.

Tips for the 9th September 2013

Tennis

It is all about the Men’s U.S Open final today with the pairing of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. I have been backing Nadal all the way through the gram slam and today is no different. Djokovic is at the time of writing 6/5 with both Boylesports.com and Betfair.com. Rafael Nadal is 8/11 with Boylesports.com and 2/3 with Betfair.com.

Soccer

England U21 take on Finland U21 this evening. England U21 go into the match priced at 4/9 with Boylesports.com and 2/5 with Betfair.com.

In the Republic of Ireland U21 v Germany U21 match up, you would have to favour the Germans at 6/10 with Boylesports.com with Betfair.com offering 1/2 for the German win.

Horse Racing

Mondays are always a mixed bag for racing unless there is a festival on.

Special Report 3.30 Brighton has a decent EACH WAY chance at 7/1 with Boylesports.com and 15/2 Betfair.com.

Endeavor running at the 4.20 Perth has had a consistent form recently and has a good chance in this handicap hurdle. Endeavor is 29/10 with Betfair.com and 11/4 with Boylesports.com.

The 6.20 at Galway I would favour Missunited. I saw this horse win a bumper during the Galway festival this summer gone past. The horse is a proven winner at this course and Boylesports.com are giving 11/2 for Missunited while Betfair.com are offering 6/1.

Tips for 8th September 2013

Betting tips for today 8th September 2013, with odds coming from Paddypower.com and Boylesports.com.

Formula 1

First up we have Formula 1 where after yesterdays qualifying its looking sweet for Sebastian Vettel at the Italian Grand Prix. It was in Monza where Vettel won his first ever Grand Prix and with his starting position he looks on course again barring any technical issues with his car. Vettel is priced at 1/2 with Paddypower.com and Boylesports.com to win the grand prix at Monza. However is you fancy a Ferrari win at their home turf, Fernando Alonso is at 9/2 Boylesports.com and 11/2 with Paddypower.com.

With Paddypower.com you can bet on the number of classified drivers to finish the Italian Grand Prix. Over 18.5 cars to finish is offered at 4/6 while under 18.5 to finish is at EVENS.

Boylesports.com allows punters to bet on points finishers for the race at Monza. Kimi Raikkonen would seem a sound bet at 1/6, similarly 1/7 for Fernando Alonso.

Tennis

Serena Williams is 1/4 with Paddypower.com and is priced similarly with Boylesports.com She looks to be on course to pick up another title.

The Men’s final scheduled for tomorrow, Novak Djokovic is 11/8 with Rafael Nadal at 4/6 with Boylesports.com. At Paddypower.com however, the prices are 5/4 and 8/13 respectively.

GAA

It is All-Ireland final day at Croke Park for the senior hurling final. The meeting of Cork and Clare will be an intense one. Prices for this one are currently Cork 5/6 with both Boylesports.com and Paddypower.com. Clare on the other hand are 11/8 with Boylesports.com and 13/10 with Paddypower.com. It is a difficult final to predict. I personally will be backing Clare but at the back of my mind it is very hard to doubt the favourites. To be safer I would advise betting during play and see where the game is at after 10 minutes have been played.

NFL

I am going to back the Green Bay Packers how are priced at (+4.5) 10/11 with both Boylesports.com and Paddypower.com. I am tipping the Packers wide receiver Randal Cobb for big things this season and what a way it would be to start against the San Francisco 49ers. The New England Patriots are (-10.0) 10/11 at the Buffalo Bills who’s odds are (+10.0) 10/11 with Paddypower.com.

News on the 2014 Grand National

Aintree has recently signed a new sponsor for its annual Grand National event. Crabbie's has penned a three year deal from 2014-2016 to replace John Smith's as the sponsor of the National. Crabbie's who specialise in making alcoholic ginger beer will be fronting the National taking over from the 9 year John Smith's backed race. The brand is known in the horse racing industry for having sponsored several races at a lower level. There had been fears over finding consumer sponsorship for the 4 mile and 4 furlong event on a number of reasons. One reason was the difficulty of consumer sponsorship amidst the volatile economic climate and doubts over consumer brand sponsoring the event following equine fatalities in both 2011 and 2012. Executives of the festival favoured the sponsorship of a consumer brand rather than the bookmaker to brand the Grand National. A number of bookmaking firms had been reported to have outlined their interest in sponsoring the race however it was suggested that they were
informed that they would not be considered.

As part of the deal Crabbie's have negotiated the naming rights for three Grade One races over the Aintree Grand National festival. The races during the meeting that the drinks company will sponsor are the Crabbie's Fox Hunters Chase, the Crabbie's Topham Chase and the Crabbies Grand national. A number of other Grade One events at the meeting that had been previously sponsored by John Smith's in recent years such as the Aintree Hurdle and the Liverpool Hurdle, to mention a few, have not been included in the deal involving Crabbie's.

The Crabbie's brand based in Merseyside, who launched alcoholic beer in 2009 are owned by Halewood International who are also known to own the likes of Tsingtao. Halewood International has strong links with Liverpool, Aintree and the Grand National. The firm was established by the late John Halewood who has rooted connections with the Aintree Grand National, who owned Amberleigh House, the winning horse of the 2004 Grand National. Amberleigh House had been trained by Aintree legendary trainer Ginger McCain.

The resulting deal involving Crabbie's will see prize money for the Grand National to the sum of £1 million. The deal will see the Prize money reach the £1 million mark for the first time in the 167 year history of the event. The prize money for this year’s Grand National winner, Auroras Encore was £950,000. However, concern still surrounds sponsorship for the other events at the meeting. The Aintree executives are still hunting to fill the sponsorship voids for some of the historic races that currently remain without sponsors. Of those races that have yet to be sponsored are Grade One and Grade Two events. The most likely candidates to sponsor the events are most likely to be the bookmaking firms if Aintree fails to tie down consumer sponsors.

The Crabbie's Aintree Grand National will be held on 5 April 2014. Tickets are currently available for entry to the various days of the Aintree festival including entry to the historic Grand National.

Tips for the 6th September 2013

Betting tips for today 6th September 2013, with odds coming from Paddypower.com and Bet365.com.

The Review

I created a little curse of ‘I can’t see him losing this one. First Ferrer lost his match on Wednesday night, then Murray’s thrashing last night it’s a happy two nights for the bookies. I am still backing Rafael Nadal to win the 2013 U.S Open title. His odds are at EVENS but on final day they may be enhanced by certain bookies provided he is up against Novak Djokovic.

Good news! We bagged ourselves a double with the U21’s. Netherlands U21’s beat Scotland 4-0 while England won 1-0. Makes up for the Murray disaster

Tips for the 6th September 2013

Soccer

It is all about the Internationals today. First up Russia are 1/33 against Luxembourg with Bet365.com. The odds are very poor on Paddypower.com however, as Russia are priced at 1/66 for the game.

Kazakhstan are 9/20 against the Faroe Islands with Bet365.com and 4/9 with Paddypower.com.

The Czech Republic are 4/11 with Paddypower.com for their clash with Armenia. Bet356.com have the Czechs at 2/5.

Bookmakers are offering brilliant odds for Denmark at the time of writing against part-timers Malta. Paddypower.com have Denmark at 1/6 for the game while Bet365.com are giving 1/5. This game today is the Bet of the Day.

France are 1/3 against Georgia with PaddyPower.com and 4/11 with Bet365.com.

The Germans are 1/5 against Austria with Bet365.com today. Caution is needed for this one as Austria have put in a few good performances in this group. The tie with their neighbours could be a fiery one. Germany are also 1/5 with Paddypower.com for this match up.

Holland are 1/5 against Estonia with Bet365.com while they are 1/6 with Paddypower.com

Spain 2/9 against Finland. Those odds are offered from both Bet365.com and Paddypower.com.

Greece 1/4 against Liechtenstein with both bookmakers. At these odds it is a good challenge for the bet of the day.

For England v Moldova, Paddypower.com and Bet365.com have England at 1/16 for this one.

That is the 10 match accumulator for today. The accumulated odds add up to roughly over 7/1 with Paddypower.com with Bet365.com offering a little bit higher for the 10 match accumulator.

There are several other internationals scheduled for tonight however the 10 games that are listed are the most likely to prevail.

Betting Tips for 5th September 2013

Betting tips for today 5th September 2013, with odds coming from Ladbrokes.com and Williamhill.com.

The Review

Success! If you backed Flemengo in the teams match last night. They prevailed as 2-1 winners on the night. Prices yesterday morning suggested at Ladbrokes.com you would get 9/20 while better value was offered with Betfair.com at 8/15.

In horse racing my tip for the 18.45 at Gowran Park frustratingly missed out on a place finish. Similarly we missed out by half a length with Fine Art Fair at the 18.30 in Kempton.

Tips for the 5th September 2013

Tennis

Rafael Nadal powered into the semi finals of the U.S Open last night. He is looking even more unbeatable in each match he eases through. If you look at his statistics, it tells the same story. Nadal has broken serve 29 times in five matches at the U.S Open. For the season he has racked up a perfect 20-0 record on hard courts this year. This is the reason why the bookies have thrown caution to the wind and offered his odds at EVENS with Ladbrokes.com and 11/10 with Williamhill.com.

Novak Djokovic is 6/4 with both bookies while the same goes for Andy Murray, both offering 4/1 for the Scotsman to lift the tournament for the second time.

Andy Murray 2/9 against Stanislas Wawrinka with Williamhill.com. Murray is 1/4 with Ladbroke.com. I cannot see him losing despite the fact I said the same yesterday about David Ferrer. Serena Williams 1/8 with Williamhill.com and 4/9 with Ladbrokes.com for her semi final match against Li Na.

Soccer

Tonight’s soccer comes mostly from the Under 21 European Championships. You have to bear in mind that there are considerable risk betting on Under 21 games. Just because a club or country’s senior team is world class or consistently wins matches will not mean the same will be for the Under 21 team.

Netherlands U21 are in action with Scotland U21. Both Williamhill.com and Ladbrokes.com are offering Netherlands U21 for a win at 1/3. England U21 are clear favourites against Moldova U21. Williamhill.com are giving 1/25 for England U21 while Ladbrokes.com are 1/20. There are several other Under 21 European Championships games taking place tonight however, there is nothing other than what was mentioned that is provoking me to bet on. I will be back tomorrow with an accumulator for the senior World Cup Qualifiers.

Tips for the 4th September 2013

Betting tips for today 4th September 2013, with prices coming from Ladbrokes.com and Betfair.com.

The Review

Andy Murray last night went through to the last 8 of the U.S Open.

Wolves won on penalties, Tranmere Rovers lost and Bradford got thrashed 5-0. Good night for the bookie then. The Bradford result is something to consider looking at if you are going fancy a flutter at the Sky Super6 or just an accumulator for the weekend.

Not as disastrous in the racing front as 8/1 E/W Nickels and Dimes landed in second yesterday at Goodwood. My other tip yesterday Alpine Mysteries, was a Non-runner at Lingfield.

Tips for the 4th September 2013

Soccer

There is nothing major going on in the world of football for today. If you follow the Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, Flemengo are 9/20 with Ladbrokes.com while there is better value going at Betfair at 8/15.

Focus will be on the prices for the qualifiers for the 2014 world cup in Brazil. We are sure to find an attractive accumulator for those upcoming ties.

Tennis

After Murray going through he sits 3/1 with Betfair.com and 10/3 Ladbrokes.com to win the title for a second time.

Tonight David Ferrer is up against Richard Gasquet. Ferrer goes in at 2/5 Ladbrokes.com and at 91/250 with Betfair.com. I backed him for the last match and I think he can do it here again although it will be tough against the experienced Gasquet.

Ladbrokes.com have a Ferrer special at 5/2 if he can beat Gasquet 3-1. I wouldn’t recommend this special as I believe this one will be decided by a single set.

Rafael Nadal is becoming ever more heavily backed as he shortens to 5/4 with both Ladbrokes.com and Betfair.com.

Racing

I would go Each-Way on Melanippe 12/1 Ladbrokes.com 11/1 Betfair at 18.45 Gowran Park. You have a really mixed bunch at Gowran Park with the O’Briens teaming up in the first race which may have a chance but for me I am saving the cash for a good soccer accumulator on Friday. There are race meetings at Bath today however I usually stay away from meetings at Bath. They have not been kind to me through the years.

Kempton 18.30 Fine Art Fair looks decent. The horse has a fairly decent form going in at 9/5 with Betfair.com 13/8 with Ladbrokes.com.

Betting Tips for 3rd September 2013

Tuesday 3rd September betting today with Boylesports.com and PaddyPower.com

The Review

On a review of yesterday’s bets, my bet of the day was Ferrer to beat Tipsarevic at 2/7 on Ladbrokes.com which prevailed. I sent out a huge warning about Roger Federer which I hope I have saved some people from some heavy losses.

However I was hit for 3 in the soccer tip with Cliftonville as they lost a shock 3-1 at home to Coleraine. That’s non-professional football for you.

In horse-racing had 15.40 Hamilton Llanarmon Lad as a tip for yesterday however the horse ended up a non-runner.

I backed Griffin Point on the 14.20 at Ffos Las, however, he was an agonising 2nd place finisher although a safe place bet would save the tears.

Soccer

Wolves 8/13 PaddyPower and 4/7 Boylesports, take on Walsall and really you do have to fancy their chances on this one. Wolves have had a consistent start to the season currently positioned in second in league one. This I would say will be my bet of the day.

Tranmere Rovers are 6/5 with both Boylesports and PaddyPower, who are against Fleetwood Town tonight. The Rovers have had a poor start to the season however they recently notched up a win over Bolton in the league cup and got their first win in the league last weekend.

Bradford look promising ahead of their encounter with Hartlepool going in at 11/10 with PaddyPower and at 6/5 with Boylesports.

Racing

Racing comes today from Goodwood with the opener at 2.20. I would look at Nickels and Dimes running both at SP at the time of this post with both bookies. For that horse I would probably go E/W for this Maiden Stakes.

Nothing catches my eye at Musselburgh however Alpine Mysteries at 7/1 E/W could have a decent chance in the 19.20 at Lingfield.

Tennis

Rafa Nadal is now 6/5 with PaddyPower and evens with Boylesport after his victory last night. Novak Djokovic on the other hand moves to 13/8 on PaddyPower and 9/5 with Boylesports. It is hard to see anyone other than Nadal, Djokovic or Murray taking the U.S Open title. It is very difficult to predict the winner from those three given their form in this year’s tournament.

Andy Murray is currently 1/25 with PaddyPower while 1/33 with Boylesports for his next match.

Tips for 2nd September 2013

For Monday 2nd September 2013 we have U.S open tennis where prices come from Ladbrokes and PaddyPower.

First up hard not to back David Ferrer. 2/7 on Ladbrokes 1/4 on PaddyPower. Ferrer has been plugging away and grinding out results recently and his world rankings outline that fact. I can only see him being dumped out of this grand slam by someone from the top 3.

Roger Federer 1/16 Ladbrokes 1/20 PaddyPower at those odds I would avoid since Rogers shock defeat at Wimbledon this year, it has taken the shine of his mantle as a banker.

Rafa Nadal is looking good to come away with another grand slam title. He's currently 6/4 Ladbrokes 13/8 PaddyPower for the U.S open title. Nadal is 1/25 against Philipp Kohlschreiber Ladbrokes and 1/18 PaddyPower. You have to remember this 12 time grand slam winner is still only 27 but questions surround the injuries in the past over how long this power house can remain at the top of world tennis.

The 2013 Wimbledon Champion  and Defending U.S open champion Andy Murray is 7/2 with both Ladbrokes and PaddyPower. Despite not being over convincing, it is hard to rule out Murray since becoming a two time grand slam winner in the last grand slam at Wimbledon. Novak Djokovic at 7/4 is a nice price and he has yet to drop a set. The 6 time grand slam winner has been untroubled so far  in the tournament.

Todays Soccer tip from the IFA Premiership where you have to fancy Cliftonville at 4/9 with Ladbrokes as they take on Coleraine. The current league champions are leading for the 2013/2014 league season with 9 points from four games. Coleraine are placed in 8th in the league with a dismal 4 points from 4 games.

Racing today comes from Ffos Las starting with the 14.20 where it is hard to ignore Griffin Point at 11/4 Ladbrokes and 3/1 PaddyPower. Griffin Point was second at this course and distance in July and has a good chance of going one better here again.

For the racing in Hamilton  the only pick is the 15.40 Llanarmon Lad likely to go joint favourite with Mahican both 6/5 with PaddyPower in this four horse maiden stakes. I personally prefer Llanarmon Lad since he's had a consistent standard in past outings.
