In horse racing my tip for the 18.45 at Gowran Park frustratingly missed out on a place finish. Similarly we missed out by half a length with Fine Art Fair at the 18.30 in Kempton.

Rafael Nadal powered into the semi finals of the U.S Open last night. He is looking even more unbeatable in each match he eases through. If you look at his statistics, it tells the same story. Nadal has broken serve 29 times in five matches at the U.S Open. For the season he has racked up a perfect 20-0 record on hard courts this year. This is the reason why the bookies have thrown caution to the wind and offered his odds at EVENS with Ladbrokes.com and 11/10 with Williamhill.com.

Novak Djokovic is 6/4 with both bookies while the same goes for Andy Murray, both offering 4/1 for the Scotsman to lift the tournament for the second time.

Tonight’s soccer comes mostly from the Under 21 European Championships. You have to bear in mind that there are considerable risk betting on Under 21 games.
